Dr. Devanand Hulmani

About

Dr. Devanand Hulmani is an accomplished orthopaedic surgeon with extensive clinical experience and advanced training in orthopaedics. After completing his M.B.B.S. at KIMS, Hubli, he pursued M.S. Orthopaedics at the prestigious AIIMS New Delhi, one of India’s top medical institutions, where he also served as a Senior Resident. He further enhanced his expertise through elite fellowships in robotic joint replacement and hip arthroscopy in South Korea and advanced arthroplasty and arthroscopy training in Austria. He has a special interest in complex trauma, pelvi-acetabular surgeries, primary and revision joint replacement, and sports injury surgeries. Known for his dedication to research and patient-centered care, Dr. Hulmani has contributed significantly to orthopaedic literature and advanced clinical practices.

• Primary and Revision Joint Arthroplasty: Expertise in hip, total and partial knee, shoulder, and elbow replacements, including robotic-assisted surgeries.
• Sports Injuries, Joint Preservation Surgeries, and Arthroscopic Surgery: Extensive experience in knee, shoulder, hip, and ankle arthroscopy for conditions such as ACL, PCL, MCL, and LCL reconstruction, multi- ligament knee injuries, MPFL reconstruction, tibial tuberosity transfer, trochleoplasty, osteotomies for genu varum or valgum, osteochondral autograft transfer (OATS), autologous chondrocyte implantation, autocart procedure, meniscal repair and transplant, subacromial decompression of the shoulder, Bankart repair, rotator cuff repair, labral tear management of the hip, and femoroacetabular impingement correction.
• Pelvic-acetabular injuries and periarticular fractures.
