Dr. Pavan Kumar G is an orthopaedic surgeon with specialized training in arthroscopy and sports medicine. He completed his MBBS from KIMS, Bangalore, followed by a Diploma in Orthopaedics and DNB Orthopaedics, and holds an MSc in Sports and Exercise Medicine from the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom. He further completed a fellowship in Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine at HOSMAT Hospitals, Bangalore.
He has a strong clinical interest in sports injuries, ligament reconstruction, arthroscopic procedures, and orthopaedic trauma management. Dr. Pavan has extensive experience working as a team doctor for several national and international sporting events, including cricket, football, endurance cycling expeditions, and long-distance running events. His involvement in elite sports medicine has provided him with valuable exposure to on-field injury assessment, emergency management, and return-to-play decision making. He is also actively involved in academic research and has authored multiple publications in peer-reviewed orthopaedic journals while regularly participating in national conferences and academic discussions.
