Dr. Nithin Kumar H.N. completed his M.B.B.S and M.D. General Medicine at Vydehi Institute of Medical Science and Research Centre, Bangalore. Doctorate in Medicine [D.M. Medical Gastroenterology & Hepatology] at Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. He continued to acquire more skills and knowledge by doing Fellowship in Advanced Endoscopy and EUS at M S Ramaiah Memorial Hospital, Bangalore. Heis also a Royal College of Physician [United Kingdom] Board certified in Gastroenterology and Hepatology.
A University topper during MBBS and has received a certificate of merit from Rajiv Gandhi University of Medical Sciences Bangalore.
A lifetime member of ACG (American College of Gastroenterology), Crohn’s Colitis Foundation of India, Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy of India and ISG(Indian Society of Gastroenterology).
Dr Nithin Kumar H N is an expert in performing various diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic and colonoscopic procedures like APC, Metal Stent Placement, SG & CRE Balloon Dilatation, Variceal and hemorrhoid banding, PEG Insertion, polypectomy and management of GI bleeding.
He holds vast experience in managing complex gastrointestinal problems, IBS, IBD, GI motility disorders, Liver diseases and pancreatico-biliary diseases
He is also well versed in performing interventional endoscopy procedures including ERCP, diagnostic and therapeutic EUS including double balloon enteroscopy. He has acquired skills in performing oesophageal and anorectal mannometry, 24hours impedance pH metry and capsule endoscopy.
He has published several academic papers and posters in various journals and academic forums.
