Dr Raghavendra CV is a highly skilled and well-experienced Gastroenterologist with an experience of more than 15years. His areas of expertise are Laparoscopic and Robotic Liver and pancreatic surgeries-Right hepatectomy, left hepatectomy, Whipple’s pancreaticoduodenectomy, Surgery for gall bladder stones and gallbladder cancers, Cancers of live Liver, pancreas and bile duct.

He also has a wide experience in adult and Pediatric liver transplants, both cadaveric and living donor Liver transplants. He has keen interest in Pediatric Liver transplants, with high success rates. He has to his credit of being a part of nearly 900+ Liver transplants with high success rates in the past 15 years.

His other areas of interests include, optimization of severely sick liver patients with high MELD scores, Safe Donor hepatectomy for living donor liver transplantation, and promoting organ donation among the masses with increasing their awareness.

He has done MBBS: M.S Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore, MS (General Surgery): J.S.S Medical College, Mysore, DNB (Surgical Gastroenterology): Calcutta Medical Research Institute, Kolkata and Fellowship in Hepatology & Multiorgan Transplant: Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi.

He ranked 1st in Master’s in general surgery and received a gold medal from the Karnataka Chapter of the Association of Surgeons of India.
He has authored many articles in monographs on HPB surgery and published many peer-reviewed journals. He has presented various papers at many National and International conferences.

• Performed the first successful Cadaveric Liver transplantation at A.J Institute of Medical Sciences, Mangalore, Karnataka, the first-ever to be performed in central Karnataka.
• Innumerable guest lecturers – carrying the sessions, and presentations at CME’s, State, and National & International Conferences.
