Dr G Chandrashekar MBBS, MS, MCh (Cardio-Thoracic Surgery)

A senior cardiac, thoracic and vascular surgeon with an experience of over 30 years in the field. Worked as Senior Consultant and Head Department of Cardiac Surgery at Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences at Whitefield Bangalore for eight years. Trained a dozen young cardiac surgeons who are presently successfully working in corporate sector. Earlier trained in beating heart bypass surgery and minimal access cardiac surgery in the early 2000s in Belgium. Performed over 10000 heart, lung and vascular surgical procedures with a high success rate. Adept at Adult Cardiac Surgery especially beating heart bypass surgery, valve repairs, Total Arterial Revascularisation, valve replacement surgeries etc., Adept at Paediatric and Congenital Heart surgical procedures. Adept at Minimal Access Cardiac Surgical Procedures. Adept at Aortic Aneurysm surgeries. various vascular surgeries.
