Vinod S Dibbur is an expert in Nephrology and Transplant medicine, having ten years of experience in these fields. His interest lies in managing acute post-transplant cases, including management of immediate and late complications. With a decade long career in this field, he has worked with prestigious hospitals worldwide. His notable professional responsibilities include hospitals like Imperial College NHS Trust and Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust.
Dr. Dibbur is well-trained in managing most complex transplant and renal immunological diseases. He has experience managing patients with acute kidney injury, chronic kidney diseases and their complications, immunological mediated kidney disease such as Vasculitis and Connective Tissue Diseases, kidney transplantation and its complications. He also has hands-on experience in performing hemodialysis catheter insertion and renal biopsy. He is well-versed in managing post-kidney-pancreas transplant cases along with the prescription of immunosuppressant’s and management of its complications. He believes in evidence-based medical practice and treats patients as per national and international standards. He has many paper and poster presentations to his credit.
He completed his MBBS from Dr B.R. Ambedkar Medical College, Bangalore, in 2001, followed by MRCP- Royal College of Physicians, UK 2008. He also did MRCP and CCT (Nephrology)- Royal College of Physicians, the UK, in 2014. He also received a Fellowship at Imperial College NHS Trust in London. He gained the best training in managing complicated kidney and pancreas transplants in the United Kingdom during his fellowship course. He has carried out several projects like the role of DP antibodies in transplant rejection and continuing his research collaboration with Imperial College on biomarkers in Immunological renal diseases.
